I'm a multi-award-winning beauty journalist and brand consultant, with a special interest (read: borderline obsession) in fragrance. From the age of 17 I worked in the beauty departments of Tatler, the Telegraph, The Times and Glamour, and was Beauty Director at Conde Nast Brides and Easy Living for over 10 years. Since going freelance in 2013 I've written for British Vogue, Red, Stella, CN Traveller, Stylist, The Pool, Sunday Times Style, Fifi & Friends, The Scented Letter and MINE Magazine. I consult and copy-write for brands such as Chanel, Jo Malone London, Philips Beauty, Giorgio Armani, Essie and L'Occitane. My work now mostly focuses on fragrance writing, bringing fresh, fun, metaphor-laced and modern descriptive language to the way perfumes smell. I'm currently Contributing Beauty Director at Glamour, coordinating the beauty content for the A/W18 print magazine.

I'm also a mama to two awesome kids. Poppy is 4, Belle is newborn. Together with my sister-in-law Chloe, a midwife of 12 years, we have launched a new Instazine called What The Fog, guiding you through the pregnancy and baby shitstorm before, during and after birth. It's a fusion of my own motherhood experience and beauty expertise plus Chloe's professional insight and knowledge, featuring beauty and wellbeing products, invaluable advice from someone who has assisted in thousands births, and long-read Instafeatures on topics such as PND and clusterfeeding.
